Hello. I just noticed puddles of sewage water on the basement floor. Followed the water to an approximate 2-3″ wide lead pipe running up through the basement ceiling to the first floor apt. The water is clearly sewage, smelling terrible. The basement ceiling wood, beams are very wet and I see water stains. I checked the 1st floor apt, and traced the pipe to run behind the kitchen sink wall approximatelt 1-2′ behind the actual sink plumbing itself. There is no leak under the sink and all pipes are dry. What is this? How can I fix it? Thank you so much.
